To send data into Segment, you need to set up your Segment app and create an action within your Automation flow.

Setting up Segment

  1. Go to your Segment app.

  2. Navigate to Connections and click Add Source.

  3. Find and select the ‘HTTP API’ source

  4. Name the Source HeadsUp HTTP API

  5. Copy the write key for the next phase, ‘Action Creation’. This write key can also be found later under your Source Settings in Segment.

  6. That’s it! 🎉

Action Creation

  1. Go to Automation in the app and set up your automation till the action selection step (See more here: Automation ).

  2. Select the ‘Send objects to Segment” action
