With formula fields, you can combine other existing fields using mathematical and other operations.

These are the operations we currently support:

• Add +
• Subtract -
• Multiple *
• Divide /
• Negative sign / minus -
• Parenthesis ()
• Date functions:
  • DATE_ADD(date, interval_in_days),
  • DATE_SUB(date, interval_in_days)

You can use these to create advanced fields such as “Percent of Seats Utilized” by creating a formula such as:

• Variable A: Number of Seats Allocated
• Variable B: Number of Seats Utilized
• Formula: B / A
